You Are Not Alone, My Friend

We all have many battles that we go through. In many times, we may feel so alone when and while going through the battle. Life can be a battlefield, the mind can be a battlefield, and your heart can be a battlefield. Even the fight to achieve our goals which lead us to our hopes and dreams seem to be the hardest thing to reach.

There are times when your mind seems so overwhelmed. Your heart seems to “bleed” out because of the pain you encounter through life’s journey of ups and downs. Conversations seem fewer because of people who may have walked out of your life. Do you feel because of this that you are alone or the only one experiencing your situation or circumstance?  You are not alone! You, my friend are not alone.

Many women experience so much pain that words cannot seem to express, only tears.  It gets difficult to hold your head up, to even feel that you are worth something more than your past or even your right now. Please don’t give up on life. Please don’t give up on yourself or even your future.  Sometimes, you just need to be reminded that you are not alone. There are many experiencing life’s complications or battle wounds. Remember those dreams you are aspiring to obtain in life. Remember that the battle is not yours but the Lord’s and HE is able to help you make it through your right now to get to your next. When others are not there to assist, GOD is. When others don’t understand, HE does. When others are judging you based upon information they don’t understand, remember GOD seen it, HE knows, and HE will fix it, & help you!

You are worth the fight. Your future is worth not giving up on. You are not alone. We are here as “colored girls” who know all too well that giving up is not an option, but your future is worth fighting for, as you are worth knowing and celebrating, my friend.  You are not alone!
